Spiders everywhere!

So this never actually happened of course, but I fear it of course. Abe stores his rubber boots outside. Well, he did. They are now garbage because we were both scared of how many spiders could be in them.

Savages

Yay! A real comic! Took me long enough. I have a bunch, but getting them digitized is a problem. Especially with the gray was, as you can see.
Well, if you are in Seattle area, I hope you can come to the Burke museum tonight, June 24, because from 6 to 9, we will have our natural science illustration art show or my class. The guy on this pillow is part of my piece. That is a pillow that you can buy and have in your house. :O
But I think this is the best thing in my shop right now: a corgi iPhone case!

Rabid Squirrel

And I scare all the clients because I am right next to the door of the training room. In our old building, I was hidden away in a corner.

Leaning Tower of Tea Bags

I finally did stop this. Enough people thought I was gross to influence my behavior. (Apparently that number is three.) But I do like looking at them. I drink black tea at work - mostly Irish breakfast - and I love the color of the dry tea bags. Beautiful reds and browns. No one understands me.

So much pizza

At least it was tasty pizza. Lovely thick crust. Nice tasting sauce. Was looking forward to not eating pizza again for a while when I left, though.

Messy mess mess

Oh boy. When she said that, I think there were 8 drinks on my desk. They are all drawn on there. There might have been others I missed.
I am also well know for my messy and unprofessional desk at my current job, technical writer at a government financial software company. Fortunately, the cleaning crew has started taking away my empty soda cans. But they have yet to take away my awesome Leaning Tower of Tea Bags.

Sweaty sweat sweat

Huh. That fourth panel is me thinking a bit too close up of that sweat on my chin dripping into my comic. I would have been very upset. I don't think I have sweat so much in my life than that week in Vermont. I think White River Junction is to this day covered in particles of my sweat.

Pizza time

More comics about the Cartooning Studio workshop I went to in Vermont at the Center for Cartoon StudiesI still tell everyone that it was like walking through a cloud of honey. So gross. And that was really good pizza.

spidERS!

Ugh. I hate spiders. There is often a spider just hanging in the middle of the hallway from my front door to the car first thing in the morning. I don't think I have run smack into any of them, but who knows that early in the morning.

Scary farts

Yeah. Nisa is gross. But Ernie's farts don't even phase him.

Cat vomit

That black thing I am waving in panel 5 is the remote control. The logistics of this comic were difficult to show.
That cat throws up every where. Well, not so much any more. Abe got her a new food. It really makes a difference. Science diet sensitive stomach helped, but for some reason he has a hard time finding that one. Now she is on the same brand of food as the dogs and is eating less. Which is good. She would eat a ton super fast and then throw it right back up.

Computer spit.

This comic is pure torture for Abe. The things I do with that laptop. I often set my tea mug on the right side while I type. I did finally clean off the monitor. It was pretty filthy for a few months there.

Big cars

Big cars drive me nuts. But people sure do like them.

Yoga Butt

I'm back from the Cartooning Studio workshop at the Center for Cartoon Studies in Vermont and it was amazing. I had such a great time. I made two comics and am writing up a bunch of autobio comics. I will compile these into a comic. I am half way done with the autobio comics. I will be at Portland Zine Symposium this weekend, so I hope to be amazing and have the new comic read and printed by then. BUT! Abe is super super busy at work, so he might not be able to print it. So we'll see.

Yoga watchers

Oh yoga. You make me so paranoid. Not really the point is it.

Still in Vermont. I wonder how Abe and the dogs are doing without me.

My worst bus ride

This is the bus ride that cured me from ever wanting to ride the bus again.
