True story. Srsly. So true it doesn't even get the vowels in seriously.
However, that is not my best drawing of Jim, which would be thus one.

In other news, I will be at the Olympia Comics Festival on June 8th from 1:30 to 6:30! I will have all the Flying Dodo Publications regular stuff, be we should also have the first printed copy of Spaz Hands. It will collect the first 50 comics.

Isaac's birthday

I got a hat at the Museum of Flight gift shop, but then realized later, as I always do, that black is a bad color with all the dog hair in our house. Lousy with corgi hair.

The Hobbit

I know a lot of people seem to have not enjoyed The Hobbit, but I really did. I never read the book, but I watched the cartoon movie from the 80s or whenever a bunch when I was littler.
The pacing was wacky. And the fact that the brown wizard has poop on his face makes up for the lame fat dwarf.

Xmas gifts

Jeez. This is old. Maybe I should post things related to holidays closer to the actual holiday.
I forgot to post on Tuesday because I am sick. Mega Con Crud from ECCC. Oof. I am so gross right now.

Thanksgiving 2012

I was supposed to help Jim with the polenta this year but he started without me. And mom bought brussel sprouts still on the stalk! I hadn't used that before, but they are really easy. Just snap right off. We had a really good Thanksgiving this year.

Grandpa's Soda Fountain and Ice Cream Parlor

I suppose I don't really have much more to say about this, but the ice cream was pretty good.

The New Moon Cafe

Yum. Now I want hashbrowns. We are going to Olympia to drop Isaac off later this week, so maybe we will get to go again. It is also really close to Danger Room, the best comic shop ever, so there is an even greater chance we will go since we are definitely going to Danger Room. I plan to get Saga, trade 1, and Adventure Time, trade 1. And of course, maybe something else because that place is so awesome.
Anyways, after we ate at The New Moon Cafe, we wandered around and Abe took a bunch of pictures at a weird fountain. He got this shot of Isaac and me sitting on the bench waiting for him to be done taking pictures of the spastic fountain.
